Trendy w branży ERP w 2020

ERP trends and forecasts for 2020

In 2019, the strengthening of trends related to 4.0 revolution and globalization was observed in all the areas of economic and social life where technology is an integral part.

Technology manufacturers are developing extremely dynamically, and the solutions they create are becoming more and more accessible through the internet. Cloud computing technology developed by the world’s largest technology companies is one of the major breakthroughs in recent years. It is used by both micro-enterprises and multinational corporations.

New capabilities with cloud computing

Nowadays, cloud technology is not only widely available, but also provides a solution to one of the main problems modern entrepreneurs face i.e. data. Data is extremely important for proper management. Cloud computing enables the integration of more and more data sources and provides methods for processing and using data. On one hand, the digital world ensures simplifications by responding to many of today’s problems and, on the other hand, it makes things more complicated by offering a multitude of opportunities.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for us ˗ IT companies, and our customers to keep up with technological changes, but at the same time we are happy to implement and use them because they drive our growth.

What is the reality IT market stakeholders face at the turn of 2019 and 2020?

Projects do not end with the implementation of modifications, but become a service that involves continuous support and development. Customers, i.e. users, become increasingly aware of how IT solutions affect business performance. They are aware of how an ERP system can boost the development of their competitive advantage, bringing improvement to the culture of project management and delivery at the same time.

There are also many changes IT service providers experience. Presently, they are able to work in many markets at the same time – they are no longer restricted by their local markets. Moreover, the competences of IT professionals and programmers are becoming more and more specialized and labor costs are increasing. This is due to globalization and the intensifying exchange of services. As a result, project costs increase.

At the same time, cloud solutions make technology more and more accessible. Thanks to them, companies minimize or completely reduce the costs of investment, maintenance and development of the internal IT infrastructure. For IT teams, this means a different scope of responsibilities. Moreover, cloud technology eliminates onboarding barriers thanks to flexible licensing models, and reduces the time needed to adapt solutions for an enterprise – especially, in terms of its IT infrastructure.

IT.integro is growing

From our company’s point of view, 2019 was a year of big changes and innovations. The rebranding of our main product from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the digital transformation has forced us to face new challenges, both regarding products and the market.

At the beginning of 2019, we launched Dynamics 365 Business Central on-cloud (SaaS) on the Polish market. In order to collect feedback from customers on the market, we organized almost 20 free conferences in Polish cities for more than 500 companies from different industries. Our experts have offered new IT models and the One Microsoft concept, where Dynamics 365 Business Central as an ERP system is part of the digital ecosystem of business solutions – available in the cloud (online), hybrid, or on-premises models.

We have gratefully received enthusiastic reactions to our offer – both among potential, new and current customers.

We ended 2019 with a big increase in sales. We are entering 2020 with ambitious plans and positive forecasts, especially as regards the strengthening of the growing trend for cloud solutions.
