21 Jan Authentication change required before April 1st, 2022
The upcoming Business Central 20 release (Business Central 2022 release wave 1) will not support Basic authentication for communication between different instances of Business Central SaaS. For more information, please READ THE DOCUMENTATION.
This change affects all our global applications (Master Data Management System, Advanced Intercompany and Intercompany Insights) the core of which is Web Service-based communication and data exchange between Business Central instances. Basic authentication will be deprecated and should be replaced with OAuth in your Business Central SaaS environments that receive data.
If receiving company works on the Business Central Online then master company need to change set up to OAuth on the Receiver Card.
